NCCP Young Leaders (New York Chapter)
NCCP Young Leaders is a community of young professionals and graduate students. Through a combination of outreach, education, community service and fundraising initiatives, NCCP Young Leaders generate new and creative ways to continue NCCP’s mission of promoting the economic security, health, and wellbeing of America’s low-income families and children.
What NCCP Young Leaders Do
Serve – Young Leaders plan and participate in ongoing and one-time volunteer opportunities to assist NCCP in promoting its mission.
Educate – Young Leaders educate their families, peers and the public about critical issues facing children and families in poor and low-income households.
Promote – Young Leaders further NCCP’s outreach strategy on behalf of children and families in need.
Have Fun – Through their outreach events, including outdoor activities, after-work social networking events, and other opportunities, NCCP Young Leaders not only work towards helping a dedicated organization achieve important state and federal policy improvements on behalf of children and families in need, but they also join other like-minded individuals, locally and around the country, who believe in the mission of economic security, health and wellbeing of America’s families and children.
