THRIVE Webinar: Using Research Connections Effectively
Thursday, May 1, 2:30-4:00pm EST

This webinar introduced ECCS Coordinators and their partners to the NCCP's Child Care & Early Education Research Connections web site, www.researchconnections.org.  Visitors to this free, easy-to-use web site can quickly search the full text of nearly 13,000 resources relevant to the field of child care and early education. Interactive tools allow users to refine their searches, download full text documents, build customized tables on state policies, compare state demographics, and analyze research data online. Continually updated, this comprehensive and unbiased collection includes scholarly research, policy briefs, government reports, data, and instruments from a wide range of disciplines and sources, including multiple federal agencies. Research Connections compiles and distributes bibliographies, develops issue briefs, and synthesizes research on key topics.

Dr. Lee Kreader, Director of Research Connections, gave a guided tour of the site, focusing on resources relevant to early childhood comprehensive systems.

You may watch and listen to the entire call at the WebEx website. The call is 69 minutes.
