In Louisiana, we worked with the Picard Center for Child Development and Lifelong Learning to develop family budgets and work support analyses customized for each of Louisiana’s 64 parishes. We also worked with the Louisiana Department for Social Services and were invited to present our policy recommendations to the state’s Child Poverty Prevention Council; two were featured in the Council’s implementation plan.
