Jessica Purmort

Research Assistant

Jessica Purmort contributes to the Making “Work Supports” Work initiative, which analyzes the current patchwork of federal and state programs that assist low-income working families and explores policy alternatives; the initiative builds on NCCP’s Family Resource Simulator.

Prior to joining NCCP in November 2006, Jessica worked on an asthma intervention in subsidized preschools at the New York Academy of Medicine. Jessica is a graduate of Brown University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Latin American Studies.
