Sherry Davidson serves as a lead professional development specialist on the NYC Partners for Preschool Quality project. Sherry is committed to promoting quality educational opportunities for all of our children. Prior to joining NCCP, Sherry Davidson led professional development, coaching, and parent involvement activities on two Early Reading First projects and other demonstration projects. Sherry is a coauthor of preschool classroom quality assessments that focus on supports for early literacy and children’s social-emotional development. She also has expertise in conducting classroom assessments and was an assessor for the NYQualityStars field test evaluation. Sherry received her master’s degree in special education and a PhD in educational administration from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Education.
