Wanda O'Connell

Administrative Coordinator

Before joining NCCP, Wanda worked at the Institute for Family Health as the administrative coordinator for the New York State Diabetes Campaign, a grant awarded through the New York State Health Foundation. Wanda has worked as office manager/administrative assistant in non-profit, academia and the corporate world, including Northeastern University’s Center for Biotechnology Engineering in Boston and Mt. Sinai Medical School in New York City.

Originally from Boston, Wanda has a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and taught ESL in Spain and South America. Moving to New York City in 1996, Wanda has continued to pursue her love of acting and music (flute player) as well as volunteering with children through New York Cares.
